Promotional Merit Points

themenageriepart2hd593

This is just a basic list of possible Promotional Merit Points (PMPs) that can be reported for rank advancement.  Not all possibilities are listed.  For details of how to obtain the points and how to report them please see your Department Chief or the chapter’s Executive Officer.  The value of each PMP entry is determined by the chapter’s Commanding Officer and/or Executive Officer.  In order to obtain credit for these items, they must be reported on your Monthly Duty Report.  The Monthly Duty Report is a short sheet containing information on what club events you participated in as well as other items (how did you have fun, what Star Trek items did you purchase, do you have any question for the Command Staff, etc.)  The Monthly Duty Report for the previous month is due at a time announced by the chapter’s XO.  The Executive Officer uses these reports to keep track of promotions.
