History: This chapter-in-training started out as a Runabout off of the USS Ticonderoga in 2007 covering the southern Davis County area. Later the CO, Lt. Commander Bob Allen, transferred to the USS Ursa Major and the Delaware was dry docked. With the passing of Captain Ruth Burns, the command was awarded to Commodore Richard Henline. In 2016 the USS Delaware was revived under Lt. Commander Allen and the crew of the USS Ursa Major transferred to the chapter-in-training. So the two chapters share a lot of history together.
