The month of November was a busy one for the nanites working on the Seventh Fleet website. Almost 2,700 photos were uploaded to the Seventh Fleet Photo Albums going all the way back to 1988 (before we started as a parent organization). We were able to identify most of the individuals in the photos and the events that they were taken at. But we may have messed up a few. Corrections have already been sent in (and updated). Thank you. These photos were also meta tagged by event and chapter. Thus when you click on one of the pages for that chapter, you will find a link to all of their photos (and blog posts). We want more photos from the events that you have just enjoyed as well as those from past events. Please send them to Photos@SeventhFleet.org.
With it also being December, it’s time to get your orders in for the 2026 Seventh Fleet Calendar. The publisher was able to give us a good bid so we could keep the cost at $10 a calendar. This will run from January 2026 to January 2027. Contact your CO ASAP if you would like to order one.
Another notice about December that we would like to pass along is the warning about the weather. Travel can get hazardous over the next few months, so be careful out there. Especially traveling to see friends and family for the upcoming holidays.
The Seventh Fleet Admiral’s Banquet is coming up next month on Saturday, January 24th (note, this isn’t the last Saturday of the month). It will be held in Richmond, Utah. For additional details, contact your chapter CO. This will be hosted by the USS Rendezvous.
