On December 13, 2002 the last movie featuring The Next Generation cast premiered. Star Trek Nemesis pitted the crew of the Enterprise-E vs. Shinzon and his force of Remans after they had taken over Romulus.
Fans finally got to see the wedding of Will Riker and Deanna Troi. Captain Picard had a chance to drive at unsafe velocities and Data sacrificed himself for the crew. Or did he?
The USS Ticonderoga will be holding a meeting Wednesday, December 11th at the Weber County Library- Southwest Branch (2039 West 4000 South, Roy, UT). There is a social gathering at 6:30pm with the meeting starting at 7:00pm. Many members bring an item for a Star Trek/Sci-Fi Show-n-Tell. For the December meeting they will also be participating in a White Elephant style gift exchange. A purchased gift should not be more than $10.

Star Trek: Insurrection (the third of four movies featuring the cast of The Next Generation) premiered on December 11, 1998. It was also directed by Jonathan Frakes (who also directed Star Trek: First Contact).
The crew of the Enterprise-E found themselves at odds with the Federation that was participating in the forced re-location of a species off of their home planet. There was also a scene where Picard and Worf used a song from a Gilbert and Sullivan play to subdue Lt. Commander Data who had gone rogue.
The members of the USS White Buffalo will be getting together for a Christmas Party at the home of Robbie Baird in Tooele. Starfleet Command’s Seventh Fleet is saddened to learn that Rene Auberjonois passed away on December 8, 2019 due to lung cancer. Most Star Trek fans know that he played Constable Odo on Deep Space Nine. Rene also played Colonel West in the movie Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country and Ezra in the Enterprise episode Oasis.
Our thoughts are with the Auberjonois family at this time.
