Trek of the Month: November 2019

So after our first month of having a joint viewing schedule, we’ve decided to continue the fun. These are episodes and movies that you can select to watch as your schedule will allow. At the end of the month we will ask you for your thoughts on what you watched for a future blog post.

November is the time for Thanksgiving. It is a time that we think about what we are thankful for as we gather as a family and enjoy a good meal. Sometimes we eat a lot at this event, just like Tribbles. Thus the Tribbles are the theme for this month.

TOS: The Trouble with Tribbles (The episode that started it all)
TAS: More Tribbles, More Troubles (Tribbles return to annoy Kirk)
TMS: Star Trek: Into Darkness (Dr. McCoy experiments with a Tribble)
TNG: We’ll Always Have Paris (“Tribbles dans les blankettes” appear on the cafe menu)
DS9: Trials and Tribble-ations (A tribute to the classic episode)
Voy: The Swarm (no Tribbles in Voyager, so this episode is a random pick)
Ent: The Breach (Dr. Phlox has a Tribble)
DSC: The Trouble with Edward (This Short Trek looks at Tribbles)
Other Trek: Star Trek Viewers Choice Marathon (A celebration of Star Trek’s 25th Anniversary with an episode countdown hosted by William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy. Link goes to video)
Fan Film: Lexington Adventures: Rise of the Tribbles (What can the Klingons do about this menace. Link goes to video)
Non-Trek: The Problem with Ploppers (Futurama, season 2 episode 18)

If you have suggestions for future themes, feel free to suggest them to Webmaster@SeventhFleet.org
