The Seventh Fleet was saddened to hear of the passing of John G. Trimble. He, with his wife Bjo, ran the letter writing campaign that saved Star Trek back in the 1960’s. He was also very involved with fandom and events such as SCA and conventions. We remember his frequent visits to Utah for both conventions and backyard BBQs. May his memory always be a blessing.
The crew of the USS Discovery is continuing their quest to assemble all of the puzzle pieces before the bad guys get to them. Will they make it? What will the final prize be? We have a date for our upcoming Fleet Day. The games will be held on Saturday, July 27th at a park in Taylorsville. This is a fun event that everyone can bring their families and friends to attend. Thank you to the USS White Buffalo for putting this Fleet event together.
The Star Trek Adventures 2nd Edition Quickstart rules are now available for download for free in PDF. They can be found at this link on DriveThruRPG. The updates look like they will help streamline the system. They already explain the rules quite a bit as compared to the 1st edition quickstart.
