Angela Williams, the Chief Medical Officer of the USS Valkyrie, passed away today. She was an avid cos-player and loved hanging out with her friends. I remember seeing her playing the science officer engaging the kids at the Seventh Fleet booth at FanX trying to get them involved with science. Using interaction and hands on experiments she showed that Star Trek could be more than just a TV show. She will be missed. A saying that I heard a friend say recently: “May her memory always be a blessing.”
In the Seventh Fleet we like to celebrate the accomplishments of the members. Congratulations to the following personnel.

Stardate 96652.22 Staff of family. Mr Hnack has restored the site, communications has been interrupted over the past week to in infestation of Klingon Malware. As a reminder to protect the integrity of our site, use complex passwords, do not share, change passwords etc. Most of all bring any issues to Mr Stark or myself a quickly as possible. The previous webhost is no longer doing business with us, I have found a trusted source that speaks human, is local to our region and was quick to assist in moving all website content.
We are online once again. Live long, and I-Sci-Fi, do you ?
Our motto in the Seventh Fleet is “We Do Not Stand Alone”. In times of need we rally together to help out when we can. A call is being sent out now for such a need. As most of you know, Lt. Commander Tristan Vilhauer of the USS Valkyrie passed away suddenly last month due to complications with his liver. He was only in his twenties and did not expect to have to worry about funeral expenses. The hospital will not release the body of our friend until the cost of $1500 can be covered. Captain Charles Corr has set up an account at Wells Fargo to help raise funds to cover the costs. If you can help out you can go to any Wells Fargo bank and make a donation. If you would like the account number, please email Info@SeventhFleet.org and we can send it to you. Thank you for all that you can do.
Log Entry: Stardate 68113.0, Rear Admiral Carl Stark recording. Every year the Seventh Fleet puts together a yearly calendar of events. This calendar will have various photos and artwork from different members of the Seventh Fleet that represents their chapters. Once again we will be offering these calendars at a cost of $10/each. To order a calendar, please contact your Commanding Officer. They will collect the money and send it up as part of your chapter’s total order.
Log Entry: Stardate 67031.5, Rear Admiral Carl Stark recording. The members of the Seventh Fleet Council gathered together to discuss what will be happening with the Seventh Fleet for the next three months and beyond. One of the many discussions that we had tonight was the advancement of Commander Roger Taylor to the rank of Captain. We are proud to announce that this proposal was accepted and Captain Taylor was awarded his rank. This also means that the chapter-in-training, PCU Essex, will now become a fully active chapter, the USS Essex. The details on the launch ceremony will be announced soon. Well done Captain Taylor and well done to the crew of the USS Essex. Tally Ho
Log Entry: Stardate 67022.2 Rear Admiral Carl Stark recording Last month at our Seventh Fleet Admiral’s Banquet, a lot of our members talked about the challenges they would be facing in 2014. For myself, I am returning to school with Western Governors University. I know that some of you are already on the road to losing weight (good job) and a lot of you want to gain a Command Grade rank (Lt. Commander or Commander). So the question I would like to ask is, what is your challenge for 2014? How do you plan to accomplish this challenge? What help can we provide to get you past this challenge? I’d love to hear your ideas.
