Hailing Frequencies Open August 2026

Thank you to everyone who came out to our July 18th Fleet Day in Roy, Utah. If you could not make it, you were missed. We had a ton of fun with both indoor and outdoor events. A round of applause to the crew of the USS Ticonderoga for all of the hard efforts they put into running the event. We had over 80 members of our Star Trek family with representatives from Idaho down to St. George in attendance. We are now looking forward to the Admiral’s Banquet in January 2027 with the next Fleet Day set for next summer. Details TBA soon.

The online Photo Albums have been updated with the latest photos. This also includes our new 2026 album that is now online. We would like to thank all of those who sent in submissions for the albums as well as those who sent in corrections to the descriptions and tags. With over 30 years of photos, sometimes details get lost in the sands of time. If you have photos from any Fleet or Chapter event, feel free to send them to Photos@SeventhFleet.org. Please tell us the event name and those in the photos.

The first two episodes of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 4 have been released to the public. There is a lot of science fiction in these presentations. News from San Diego Comic Con is that Star Trek Scouts has been renewed for a second season. And with the 60th Anniversary of Star Trek quickly approaching, we are starting to hear about specials on MeTV and the H&I Network.

Hailing Frequencies Open is posted on the 1st of the month at SeventhFleet.org. If you have an entry that you would like to be included in a future HFO, please contact your Commanding Officer. The CO needs to have it submitted to the Admiralty by the 2nd to last day of the month for inclusion.

Website Updates: Interest Form, Photo Albums and more

So we’ve been working on several updates to the Seventh Fleet website. There have been some updated information posted in the Seventh Fleet Academy section and some minor updates to the Seventh Fleet Council site.

Two of the biggest changes includes our new Online Interest Form and some new Photo Galleries.

With the Online Interest Form, new recruits can send us their information that we will then pass onto the chapter of their choice.

We’ve added photo albums for 2020, 2021 and 2022. We have a lot of photos for the other years, it just takes a while to go through them and sort them all.

FanX 2021 Photos/Videos Part One

And another FanX: The Salt Lake Comic Convention is in the books. Many thanks to the many volunteers from different Seventh Fleet chapters who helped out at the booth. We were able to raise some money for the Best Friends Animal Society-Utah. A big thank you to all of the members and friends who came by to visit us at the booth. And another big thank you to Dan Farr and his army of volunteers at the convention. We greatly appreciate your efforts in putting this show together.
